Hadley Werner, Middlebury, VT
With the help of her little Welsh pony Chicklet, Hadley got her start riding at the age of 5. She is currently competing at the Intermediate level and hopes to use her time with Bonnie to prepare for her first CCI**. She also hopes to use her time with Bonnie to learn more about barn management and training young horses. Hadley has deferred her acceptance at the University of New Hampshire for one year in order to work at Point Above Farm. Once at school she hopes to major in Pre-Vet studies. Hadley spends much of her free time watching the Food Network and practicing her cooking skills for her family (she is going to be *very* popular at Point Above Farm!) Someday, after horses and college, Hadley hopes to travel around the world.
Abby Stankiewicz, Cincinnati, OH
Abby came to Point Above Farm in early June, 2007 and hopes to stay with the farm for at least a year. Abby and her horse, Bear, came to Bonnie’s hoping to go Novice over the summer, they had so much success that they will be moving up to Preliminary in the spring! Having just graduated from High School, Abby is looking forward to this coming year as a way to improve her riding and learn about the ins and outs of the eventing world.
In addition to the usual barn duties, Abby helps ride the horses and is learning how to be a competition groom.
